i am fifteen going on sixteen but i don't behave my age. a lot of people have told me that i've grown up too fast, but that isn't true. i am still a trembling seven year old, walking with trepidation, afraid of turning corners, afraid of losing myself all over again, afraid of venturing into the unknown. but that's okay, because i have the soul of a fighter, and i will fight and i will live and when i leave this world, i will soar into the skies with my unbroken wings.
